ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Hi! I'm Julie. 

Kids at Pigs is an art program for kids aged 5-12 years that is held at Pigments & Palettes Art Shop in Bathurst, NSW.

Classes are held during the school holidays and there are also classes available during the school term. 

I'm a big fan of anything creative so I love to get the kids experimenting with different mediums. I also teach them basic fundamentals about drawing and plan step-by-step projects that allow the kids to create a piece of art that they are proud of. 

I teach the kids to love their experiments, and make friends with their art not being perfect the first time. Like anything, getting good at art takes time, patience and practise. I remind the kids constantly, there are no mistakes, only happy accidents!

I accommodate all skill levels and the goal is to have some creative fun in a relaxed environment.

SCHOOL HOLIDAY ART CLASSES:
School holiday classes are available in three different age groups: 5-7 years, 8-9 years and 10-12 years. Class duration is 1.5 hours and the cost is $25 per student which includes all supplies.

SCHOOL TERM ART CLASSES:
Currently there is a class for 8-9 year olds and a class for 10-12 year olds. 
The school term commitment is 4 classes over 8 weeks (i.e. class takes place every second week). There is a Monday option or a Tuesday option, and the class runs from 3.45pm-5.15pm.

The cost is $80 per term and includes all supplies. As the School Term is sold as a block of four classes, there are no refunds issued if you can not make it to one of the classes.
